Naked 3 Palette review + eye look

Today I am going to review a product that I am deeply in love with right now.  That product is the one and only Urban decay Naked 3 eyeshadow palette! Also, as a bonus I am going to show you how I created an eye look using only colors from the palette!  You can buy the Naked 3 pallet at any Sephora or online for $52.  In addition to the eyeshadow the palette also comes with a brush that matches the packaging and samples of urban decay's new eyeshadow primers.  The palette is made of an aluminum material and easy to use.  It doesn't stain from makeup around it, and is pretty sturdy. But, my favorite part is the rose gold coloring of the packaging which gives you a feel for the eyeshadow colors inside.
There are 12 colors in the Naked 3 palette; 4 matte colors, 4 pearl finishes and 4 shimmer colors.  The shades are well pigmented and wear well. But, the shimmer shades do tend to have a bit of fallout as the day progresses.  All the shades in the palette have tones of pink and rose gold which gives it a feminine feel and wonderful addition to any makeup collection.

The Colors

Left to right:
Strange~ Matte off white color with a pink undertone, I use it as a base color sometimes and often in the inner corner of my eye
Dust~ Light pink shimmer color, creates the most fallout of all the colors but I really like the coloring so I use it over a cream base so it will stay
Burnout~ Pearl finish blush pink color, looks nice really anywhere but I use it mostly just under the crease because it blends dark and light colors nicely
Limit~ Matte rose pink color, out of all the colors I use limit the most because it is my favorite shade of pink makeup wise and it works well with other colors giving a more natural look that I use as a base, all over the lid, or right under the eye

Left to right:
Buzz~ Deep rose shimmer color, very pretty, sophisticated shade I wear mostly in the crease and sometimes in the inner corner of my eye
Trick~ A true rose gold shimmer color, in my opinion the most beautiful shade in the entire palette, when worn all over the lid it looks stunning but maybe a bit much for an everyday look so I wear it mostly in the inner corner of my eye or sometimes right under the eye
Nooner~ Matte mauve color with tones of light brown, looks pretty and adds a dramatic effect when blended under the crease to transition from a dark to lighter color
Liar~ A color blend of both brown and gold with a pearl finish, my favorite shade to use to define the crease or add right under the crease gliding on smoothly and adding a hint of gold to an eye look

Left to right:
Factory~ Pearl finish light chocolate color, Nice, basic, but still pretty, brown shade that I usually use as a crease color
Mugshot~ Shimmer dark brown color with tones of grays and golds, Mugshot is the most unique color in the palette with the gray and gold tones, deep, sophisticated, looks beautiful as a crease color or can be blended out to create a stunning smoky eye
Darkside~ Matte dark chocolate color, It does a fine job defining the crease of the eye with its deep but blend able tone and can create a beautiful smokey eye
Blackheart~ A brown pearl finish color so deep it can sometimes appear black, with specks of loose red glitter, The only shade in the palette that I have tried to wear and just couldn't pull off, the color is very unique and just did not look right on me but may be wearable for others

The Eye look

I started by taking Limit and used it as my lid color.  Then I took Liar and blended it in to my crease.

To make the crease and lid colors blend nicely I used Nooner and blended it under the crease to the lid.

Last I finished off with Trick and used it as a color for the inner corner of my eye.

In conclusion, Urban decay's Naked 3 palette is a favorite of mine I use daily.  I adore the shades of pink and rose gold that make the eye look beautifully stunning. Above is only one of many looks you can create with these shadows.  The colors,  pigmentation, the shimmers, the mattes, the pearls were on point and I couldn't recommend this product enough.  I hope that my review was helpful.  The link for the palette will be linked below.
