Autumn Cranberry OOTD

As the Weather cools down we switch from bright colors to dark, trade in our shorts for jeans, and start layering clothing.  But before all of that, September is the last month with enjoyably warm weather.  A transition month you may call it, between Summer and Autumn.  Today I am going to show you my "Autumn Cranberry" outfit of the day.  It's a perfect transition outfit, containing beautiful cranberry colors and Autumn floral prints with the cut of a Summer outfit because after all, the weather is still gorgeous.

The dress I am wearing from Abercrombie I have fallen head over heels for, its the perfect September dress for transitioning to Autumn from Summer.  The cranberry color and tiny floral print is just beautiful for the fall, and the criss cross cutout back is a nice touch for holding on to those last few weeks of summer.  I also really love the skater cut of the dress,  it is tighter at the top and then flares out which suits my body nicely.

To add a girly touch to the outfit, I decided to wear this cream colored floral print bow from Claire's.  The floral print in this bow matches perfectly with the cranberry color of the dress, tying them both together nicely.

For a touch of sparkle decided to add this gold north star necklace to the outfit.  The gold compliments the cranberry nicely and since the necklace is on the smaller side, it adds just a hint of sparkle without overpowering the dress.

To finish off this look I paired the dress with these shiny nude flats from Famous Footwear.  These are a perfect addition to this outfit because they are sweet and simple.

I hope you enjoyed this "Autumn Cranberry" outfit of the day, and that it gives you an idea of what to wear during this beautiful transitional weather that we are experiencing.  The clothing items that are still available will be linked in Chloe's These are a few of my Favorite Things.  Until next time, enjoy the lovely weather!

Battling Bed Head ☼Lazy Second Day Hair Tutorial & Products☼

Almost everyone wakes up with crazy second day hair, and taking a shower or using heat to fix it can be dreadful in the morning!  Sometimes you just don't feel like leaving your comfy cozy bed to fix your crazy hair.  There's a new mattress company called Casper that makes OUTRAGEOUSLY comfortable mattresses leading of course, to crazy bed head!  If your in the market for a new cozy mattress CLICK HERE to check Casper out, then you REALLY won't want to leave your bed!  Today, I am going to show you my favorite products I use to fix crazy bed head, and a simple hairstyle that is so easy you don't even have to leave your bed to do it!

Before styling second day hair you must tame it of course!  To begin I spray the "Not your Mother's Clean Freak Dry Shampoo" at the roots of my hair and it removes all the oils that my hair has produced over night.  It leaves my hair feeling fresh and clean with out the trouble of washing it!

To help with any frizz or dryness at the body and ends of my hair I use this "It's a 10 miracle leave-in product" which actually has keratin in it, an ingredient to help with the strength and shine of my hair.  This product helps return my hair to its former glory!  After this step you can brush your hair out, BUT I choose not to because I am going to use those bed head curls to my advantage when styling my hair.

To style my now tamed hair, I am going to pull it all back into a messy side pony tail, but of course you can do a traditional messy ponytail as well.  Again, I am NOT going to brush out my hair because I want to keep those bed head curls.

Now I use my "Tresemme Extra firm control Hairspray" to create controlled messy curls throughout my ponytail.  I do this by spraying it on the curls and playing around with my hair until I am satisfied with how it looks.

For an extra touch I took a fun colored bow and clipped it to the top of my ponytail to tie the look all together.  Then, the hair look is complete!

This lazy second day hairstyle is pretty, simple, and quick to achieve!  It looks as if you spent a while curling your hair, when really you just used your bed head curls to your advantage!  I hope you enjoyed this post and learned a bit as well!  Also, be sure to check out Casper if your looking for a new cozy mattress!
