Pre Spring Fashion / Pastels Lace & Tulle

The Calendar has officially turned from February to March, which means Spring is right around the corner and it's about time to assemble a spring wardrobe!  Although it's not quite spring weather yet I've started to wear lighter sweaters and pastel colors creating my "pre spring" style.  Today I'm going to share my favorite pre spring pieces; lace tulle and pastels that are suitable for the "almost spring" weather.

Baby pink is the color of Spring 2016 (says all the fashion magazines I've read), so rejoicing in early February I bought this pink shift dress with lace details from Tobi.com.  The dress is made of a  light material and has long sleeves.  It's comfortable to wear in chilly weather paired with knee high boots or warm weather paired with some cute flats.  I also love the lace detailing on this dress which creates a delicate & feminine look fitting my style beautifully. Baby pink & lace are essentials for spring style!

Tulle Tulle Tulle... my new obsession.  Tulle is the perfect addition to your spring wardrobe, so feminine frilly and fun!  I have been loving this cream dress with rows of pink and cream tulle from Tobi.com.  This dress is so delicate and girly, the tulle paired with neutral colors tones it down a bit making this piece easy to dress simply or formally.  A perfect wardrobe transition piece; soft neutral colors with a touch of tulle.

Incorporating fun pastels such as mint green or Aqua is a perfect way to add a bit of spring to your wardrobe!  For those rainy April showers longs sleeves are an essential so why not make them pastels?  I have a plain mint green crop top from Forever 21 that I love to pair with skirts on warmer days and leggings on rainy days.  The pastel color makes the outfit and can brighten up a rainy day.  Another favorite is this aqua blouse from Hollister.  This blouse has a fitted top with delicate floral lace flowing out into a loose fit.  The unique aqua color and girly carefree fit makes this top a perfect addition to your spring wardrobe!

Lastly, a light spring sweater is always a good idea.  After wearing sweaters all winter I'll admit I'm a bit sick of them, but finding a lightweight pastel blue cropped sweater was just what my wardrobe needed to transition me into spring.  This sweater is from Tobi.com and I love it's baby blue color and cute little white stripes on the sleeves.  I love pairing this tiny pastel sweater with fun skirts for "pre spring" wear.

I hope you all enjoyed reading about my favorite Pre Spring Fashion picks!  All the items mentioned (if available) are linked HERE .  Until next time, think spring thoughts, warm weather will be here in a blink of the eye!
