New & Reviewed: Physicians Formula BB Cream, Hawaiian body lotion, & More

Hi everyone and happy summer!  I recently picked up some new products to try and thought I would do a little new & reviewed post for you all!  Today I am going to be reviewing a tropical smelling lotion by Alba Botanica, an on-trend white nail polish by Sally Hanson, and two physicians formula products, their CC+ concealer and their NEW BB cream!  So, lets get started looking at these products!

Alba Botanica Hawaiian hand & body lotion

Rating 9/10
I always love trying new Bath and Body products, when I saw/smelled this Hawaiian body butter in the drugstore I had to pick it up!  I was drawn to this product because right on the front it said that the brand does not test on animals, and that the product was a replenishing coco butter.  So I was like coco butter = chocolate smelling and let me just say, this product smells AMAZING, like a mixture of chocolate and coconuts, a perfect scent for summer!  When using this product it made my skin feel super hydrated, and the scent lingers as well which is a plus!  The only reason I did not give this body lotion a 10 is because it did not clear up my dry patches, but it does sooth the skin and smell like the beach so I would say that this product is a love!

Sally Hanson full Salon manicure nail polish / 195 Let's snow

Rating 10/10
So if your an avid reader of my blog you know that the Sally Hanson full salon manicure line is my absolute favorite formula of nail polish, so really I am just reviewing the color here because the formula is beautiful.  The polish goes on perfectly smooth with lots of pigment and shine, plus it lasts for about a week with hardly any chips!  So lets talk about  Let's Snow, this is a plain white shade that I have taken a liking to!  I recently noticed that EVERYONE I knew/watched on youtube was wearing white nail polish, and I wanted to join in on the trend!  I have never worn a white color on my nails before and I must say I really enjoy it!  White nails match with every outfit I wear and looks super chic at the same time. I give white nails a 10/10, if you haven't joined in on this trend already I recommend you pick up a white polish in your favorite formula for the summer!

Physicians formula CC+ Concealer

Rating 5/10
So recently I have been on the hunt for a cruelty free concealer that has the quality of the Maybelline fit me; smooth application, perfect color match, and brightening full coverage.  Sadly this physicians formula concealer is not a product that I will be adding to my everyday face.  When I swatched this concealer I found that the texture was a nice thick liquid which I liked, but when I applied the concealer I had to build it up quite a bit to conceal under my eyes.  When built up the concealer looks average but after around two hours it begins to oxidize and turn slightly orange.  I would not recommend this concealer, but I've tried much worse concealers in my time.  At least the physicians formula concealer provides coverage for a bit.

Physicians Formula Organic wear BB cream

Rating 10/10
With a complete turnaround from the physicians formula concealer I ended up LOVING their new organic wear BB cream!  In the summer I tend to reach for a light weight BB cream instead of a heavy foundation because of the heat and the fact that my skin is at it's best during the summer months.  This BB cream has become my all time favorite, it matches my skin tone perfectly, blends in beautifully, and has a nice light coverage so it looks like my skin is naturally flawless hahah!  This BB cream also has spf 15 which is a must for the summer and as a bonus this product smells like coconut, yes I'm 100% serious.  I have nothing but love for this BB cream that I added to my everyday products.  If your looking for the perfect summer BB cream, this is it!

I hope this post was helpful for those of you looking to try out some beauty products for the summer!  My favorites will be linked in A Few of my Favorite things on my blog!  Have a sunny day!

Liebster Award Round 2

Recently my blog has been nominated for the Liebster Award by my friend Amy of amyylauren-xo.blogspot.com!

Defiantly go and give Amy's  lovely blog a read, she posts constantly on beauty fashion and lifestyle topics, I adore her blog!  Now my blog was nominated February 2014, you can read that post HERE, but what is unique about this award is that the question change every time, so I thought why not post about it again?

The Liebster award is generally given to bloggers with under 200 followers to share the love for their blogs, but since I have a bigger platform I will be able to share my nominee's blogs with even more people!
When nominated you...
 1) Mention the person who nominated you
2)Answer the 11 questions the person who nominated you came up with
3)Nominate 5-10 small bloggers
4)Come up with questions for them to answer

Here are the questions Amy came up for me to answer!

1)What is your favorite thing to do on a "lazy day"?
On lazy days I like to stay in my pajamas(of course) and scroll through pinterest, watch youtube, and make smoothies!

2)Summer, Autumn, Winter, or Spring?
Summer for sure! I love the beach, warm weather, and my birthday is in the summer as well!

3)Heels or flats?
I LOVVEEE heels I feel so powerful/feminine in them, but since I am a student I can't wear them on a daily basis so I own a lot more flats.

4) If there was one moment in your life you could re live what would it be?
A moment in my life I would re-live is one from when I was about 4 years old and every fall my Dad and I would gather bunches of leaves and lay in the leaf pile, I would relive my dad and I sitting in the leaf pile telling me old folk stories about the "leaf monster".

5) Coffee or tea?
I don't drink either, but I love the smell of coffee!

My favorite class is Fashion, even though we aren't doing any styling which is what I'm into I still really enjoy using the sowing machine to make various clothing items.

8) What is the best thing about blogging?
The best thing about blogging is everything really, thinking of post ideas, taking the pictures, that feeling you get right after you finish a post you worked hours on, and of course sharing your thoughts and ideas with this lovely community!

9) What is the hardest thing about blogging?
I would say the time spent typing your ideas into the post, like I know exactly what I want to say but I have to think of a way to put it on paper and take time to type out every word.  Other than that I enjoy putting forth a great sum of my type towards my blog and I don't find it "hard" because it is fun!

10) If you had to blog about something completely different to what you usually do what would it be?
I would probably become a food blogger!  I really love making my own gluten free/vegan/healthy versions of baked goods and sharing my various smoothie and salad recipes.

11)What is your favorite inspiring quote?
