Hey everyone, I'm back!!! I'm really sorry that I didn't have a chance to post in the month of June, but I am definitely going to post a whole lot these upcoming summer!
On Wednesday I will be going back to my regular Blog and Youtube schedules which is Youtube videos on Sundays, Wednesdays, and sometimes Fridays, and Blogposts Mondays, Fridays, and sometimes Wednesdays.
Today I have a 4th of July Blogpost and Video with two 4th of July themed outfit ideas, and two themed recipes as well! Both outfits are super cute, fun, and patriotic to get in the 4th of July spirt! And the recipes are really easy to make, healthy, and perfect for a hot day in July. First will be the video where you can see it all in action, then directions on how to make the recipes, and last will be pictures of the two outfit ideas!

Recipes
Red White & Blue stripped popsicle
Both recipes I am going to show you how to make are the same ingredients in two different forms, so if you are making one you might as well make the other too!
You are going to need
Food:
~Blueberries
~Strawberries
~Half a lemon
~Blue agave (or any sweetener of your choice)
~A pitcher full of water
Materials:
~Popsicle molds
~Ice cube trays
~ A table spoon
To start, you are going to make the base for the ice cubes and popsicle molds.
~Squeeze the half of lemon into your pitcher of water and stir
~Take your sweetener and measure out however much you want of it with the table spoon, I put in 10 table spoons of blue agave
~Stir into the pitcher and set aside
Now you are going to prepare the fruit for the ice cubes and popsicles.
~Dice the strawberries, this way they will fit into the molds
Next, prepare the popsicles for freezing.
~Pour the lemon mixture in to the popsicle molds almost to the top
~Place the strawberries and blueberries in to the molds also
The strawberries should float and the blueberries should sink, if not, cut the strawberries smaller. This way you will get the red white and blue stripped effect for the popsicles.
One last step for the popsicles until you put them in the freezer.
~Place the tops on the popsicle molds
Now you have a lot of left over from the popsicle base, soo...
~Pour the rest of the lemonade mixture into the ice cube trays
~Place fruit into the ice cube molds
This next part just takes a little patience.
~Place the ice cube trays and popsicle mold in to the freezer and let it sit over night
When the ice cubes were ready I just dropped them into a glass of water. This recipe is so refreshing, and adds a nice touch of fruit flavor and some 4th of July color to regular water.
Yes, this is the half eaten version of the popsicles, they are super delicious! Just the right amount of sweetness and perfect for a hot day. I love how the blueberry and strawberry stripes make it festive for the 4th of July too!
Outfits
This first outfit is really cute, fun, and casual for just hanging out with friends or going to the beach on the 4th of July!
I have a loose, comfy, beach - vibe top on from Aeropostale, and it has the cutest white floral pattern trim at the top of the shirt. Underneath the top, for if I want to go swimming and to add the pop of blue I have on a floral bandeau fringe bikini top from Abercrombie. I am also wearing one of my favorite pairs of high waisted shorts from American eagle. I love that they are light wash, and the fit is just perfect for me! To finish the look I put a red ribbon in my hair to be a little patriotic, and any excuse to wear ribbon in my hair works for me!
This second outfit is a bit more dressed up, girly and patriotic, it's perfect for a July 4th picnic or barbecue!
For my top I am wearing a loose crop top from Hollister that ties in the front, and has girly lace in the back, I just love the light blue coloring! I am wearing a thrifted red striped and poka dotted bikini top under my crop top to get the bit of red in my outfit, and of course if you are going to a barbecue you are going to need a bathing suit! Also, for a little more red, I am wearing a red ribbon in my hair once again. My skirt from Aeropostale is perfect for the 4th of July because it has stripes like the flag, and it has a cute summer vibe to it. I also really like the cute pockets on the two sides of the skirt, I think it gives the skirt some personality.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you can take some ideas from this post to use while picking out your 4th of July outfit! And, If you try out either one of the recipes tweet me @beautyybychloe on Twitter! Wednesday I will be back with a new post, and until then, Happy 4th of July!
